In Memory of "Zues" Dann
When My Best Friend Died

Have you ever had a dog for a best friend that you've been with since the begining. My best friend was my dog named Zues. He was my best friend since we were both little. I would talk to him about everything. When I was sad, mad, or happy, when I was down he was there to help me up. When he was down I would be there to help him up. At night he would sleep at the end of my bed and that would always make me feel safe. Every time I came home from school he would always be waiting at the door. When I was bored I would always have somebody to play with or watch movies or anything.
Now I can never be as happy as I was when he was here. When he got sick I knew it wasn't going to be good. When I found out he had passed away I fell to the ground in tears. That is when I knew my best friend was gone forever. I think about him and it makes me feel happy again. Because in my heart I know he is still there for me. I know he is watching over me. Sometimes I still feel like I need to cry because I miss him so much. I will never forget my best friend.
